I have a computer science background and research and innovation experience in micro-finance, agriculture and health spaces in emerging markets. I love being a Techie but I also enjoy engaging in business strategy and social change - I find the field of AI and Data Science as a perfect blend of the two interests. My research interests are broadly about data and artificial intelligence techniques for operations or diagnostic solutions (starting off with precision medicine and health care). My long-term view is around governance, standardization and production of digital public goods. Aside from work, I enjoy hiking and long drives to explore new places.
